Sutherland Pinot Noir

Sutherland Pinot Noir comes from Thelema’s cool-climate project in Elgin and delivers a more slender, red-fruited style. The nose is full of strawberry, raspberry, cranberry and a hint of forest floor, while the palate is elegant and juicy with fine red fruit, silky tannins and fresh, cool acidity. The wine is gently fermented and aged in used French barrels so that the Pinot expression and the cool terroir can really shine. A South African Pinot that will appeal to those who usually reach for Burgundy. Great with duck confit, roast chicken, charcuterie, mushroom dishes and pan-fried salmon.
