SURVIVOR PINOTAGE
A classic Swartland Pinotage with both power and elegance. The colour is deep garnet, and the nose offers ripe raspberries, wild strawberries, and plum – subtly spiced. The palate is full-bodied and velvety, with dark cherries, mulberries, and an elegant touch of vanilla and cocoa. Fresh acidity and silky tannins provide great structure and a long, spicy finish.
The grapes are hand-harvested from 23–24-year-old vines in Swartland. After gentle vinification, the wine is aged for 18 months in French oak barrels (20% new), with only the best barrels making it into the final bottle.
A Pinotage with depth, elegance, and plenty of character – true to winemaker Pierre Wahl’s signature style.
