Thelema Shiraz
A spicy, dark and very versatile Shiraz that practically begs to be served with a good braai. The nose shows blackcurrant, blackberry, black pepper and a touch of smoke, while the palate is full and juicy with dense fruit, firm yet ripe tannins and a long, warmly spicy finish. Grapes come from cool, high-lying vineyards on Simonsberg and are fermented in tank before the wine is aged in French oak to bring together power and finesse. Thelema manages to combine South African sunshine with a cooler mountain character that keeps the wine fresh. Fantastic with grilled meats, BBQ dishes, lamb, burgers and spicy food.
