Sutherland Grenache
Sutherland Grenache is light on its feet but full of character – cool-climate Grenache from Elgin with plenty of red fruit and spice. The nose shows cherry, raspberry, white pepper and dried herbs, while the palate is medium-bodied with juicy fruit, fine tannins and lively acidity. The wine is fermented in tank with gentle extraction and aged in used barrels and/or tank to preserve the bright, elegant style. A perfect match for poultry, lighter meats and for anyone who loves light, juicy reds. Think roast chicken, pork, grilled sausages, pizza, tapas and spicy vegetable dishes.
