Diemersdal Eight Rows Sauvignon Blanc

8 Rows is the estate’s cult Sauvignon, made from just eight rows of old vines in one of Diemersdal’s top parcels. The nose is intense and focused, with nectarine, kiwi, lime, gooseberry and wet flint, while the palate shows concentrated fruit, a rounded, creamy mouthfeel and tightly wound, precise acidity. It’s a seamless wine where fruit, acidity, minerality and structure are perfectly in tune. Grapes are hand-picked from low-yielding vines in cool, wind-swept Durbanville and the wine is fermented cool in stainless steel with extended lees contact for extra complexity.

A superb match for refined shellfish, white fish with sauce, goat’s cheese tart and herb-driven vegetable dishes.
