Thelema The Mint Cabernet Sauvignon

The Mint has become something of a cult wine – a Cabernet with classic blackcurrant fruit and the iconic note of mint/eucalyptus. The nose shows blackcurrant, cedar, dark chocolate and fresh mint, while the palate is dense and focused with firm, ripe tannins and a long, cool, aromatic finish. The vines grow close to eucalyptus trees and the essential oils leave their mark on the grapes before they are fermented and subsequently aged in French barriques. The result is a terroir-driven Cabernet that is both recognisable and utterly distinctive. Excellent with rack of lamb, entrecôte, game dishes and mature hard cheeses.
