Thelema Merlot
Thelema Merlot is for those who want a soft, approachable red without sacrificing structure. The nose is packed with red cherry, dark plum and a hint of cocoa, while the palate is velvety with ripe fruit, finely polished tannins and a long, rounded finish. Grapes are harvested from selected parcels around the estate, fermented in stainless steel and then aged mainly in used French barriques to add depth without heavy oak. Thelema has a strong reputation for Merlot, which here comes across in an elegant, classic style. Pairs beautifully with beef and veal, roast chicken, mushroom dishes and semi-hard cheeses.
